In addition to the Team's campaign to run three Fun Cup machines in 2013, Mark Burton, Graham Pattle and Eugene O'Brien of Team OBR, will be entering the British Endurance Championship with a Saker, in the GT4 class. The races are typically 3 hours long, but the highlight of the season will be a 6 hour race in September at Silverstone.

O’Brien has Le Mans 24hr experience, holding the GT2 lap record at one time, after a glittering career in just about every national single-seater formula and a spell in the BTCC as a works driver for Peugeot. Burton and Pattle have competed in the Funcup for many years and are relishing the season ahead.

Mark Burton, said: “We will contest several BEC races this year, starting at Silverstone in May. Exactly which other races we will enter is yet to be decided, but the aim is to build as much knowledge and experience as possible, in preparation for full BEC assault in 2014.”
